A new set of tools have been added to deviantART muro, for even more options when creating and editing artwork!
  • The new "Adjust" panel allows you to adjust a variety of color settings, including contrast, tint, and color temperature. These changes can be applied to an individual layer or the whole image, giving you an even broader means of creating dynamic works of art!
  • Crop your artwork by selecting a portion of the canvas and then selecting the "Crop to Selection" option from the Edit menu.

Try it out!

These new tools have been launched to Beta Testers, and can be tested out in deviantART muro. We encourage you to try out these tools, and feel free to post your creations in the comments below!

To import an image into deviantART muro:
  1. Upload an image to Sta.sh
  2. On the Sta.sh item's page, click "Import to deviantART muro"
OR
  1. In deviantART muro, select "Import Image As Layer"

If you run into anything that works differently than you'd expect it to, let us know in the comments on this article. If you encounter any bugs or other issues, please file a ticket in the devBUG Issue Tracker under the Muro Image Adjust project.

I just tried out this and work really good :) Just one thing, it works a little slow, it's like everytime I change the settings I have to wait over and over to view the results. Besides that, all is right for me :)

Very cool, but i didn't really see many features here or new apps like before.i'm sure i save my image when drawing yesterday but when i came back,it wasn't there...O.0
or maybe i forgot to save it,but i don't know(my memory playing with me)but i'm REALLY sure i save it.

Anyway,it's still pretty cool.eventhough sometimes slow or freeze...maybe it just my slow internet :aww:

A few bugs to report, although its probably not related to this haha. (couldnt find the weekly site updates page thing)

-Watch/Friends list has been showing deviants with the letter d then letter t when trying to adjust watchlist :o
(first page, second page continues as normal)
- Letters in said list are unclickable to jump to the letter.
- Groups have been showing "unable to show membership status" or something similar for the past 1-2 weeks.

Yep c:

I like it- my only suggestion is not having a rainbow whatever-that-thing-is-that-is-typically-the-colour-wheel as the 'Saturation' slide bar, as it implies that you're changing the colour instead of the saturation. I think the same one as you use for 'Contrast' would be better. ;)

I gotta be honest, the only thing that I can see wrong with this right now is when you watch the redraw in Artist's view, it doesn't show you adjusting the items under Adjust Image.

You need to be a beta tester in order to participate in beta testing projects like this :) see FAQ #531: What is an Official deviantART Beta Tester? How do I become one?

Well, I tested it, it sounds cool, despite Ican say that it's a bit slow on the adjusting, especially with "Temp" and "Tint". Finally, sometimes I get some problems with the Crop, that it gets like in a weird loop of "Processing".

Anyway, the test result was something like that -> [link]

And, so this is my debut in the beta testing.

See you soon!

Neat idea though I can't exactly see a lot of people using it much. I mean, a good bit of the final editing is done before hand. I guess those without Photoshop or any other program that can adjust colors would like it.
