Your Feedback

Thank you for the feedback left on last week's Site Update! Here's some of what you had to say.
  • Deviants were generally positive regarding the new tools in deviantART muro.
  • In regard to comments on Gallery and Favourites folders, several deviants mentioned that they had never received any. For those deviants who have received comments on a Gallery or Favourites folder, several mentioned that they did not find it exceptionally useful.
  • Deviants would like stats for how many people view their Gallery, in addition to specific deviations. Suggested by lohkk
  • Some deviants would like an "Exit without Saving" option for deviantART muro. Suggested by FantasyLost
  • Deviants would like a line smoothing tool for deviantART muro. Suggested by daPatches
  • Some deviants would like to download artwork drawn in deviantART muro as a Redraw video file. Suggested by YoSop

I've got two random suggestions.

the first would be to have a quick little status bar on profiles. Something that the user can update regularly with short notices, and send messages to their watchers. For updates important enough that they wnat their watchers to be notified, but no so important or lengthy they want to make an entire journal just to remind them the contest is ending next week.
i think this would work really well for quick reminders and updates. Just things like 'contest ends next week' or 'kiriban at 200 000' or 'opening commissions soon - keep an eye out for more info!'
i know a lot of people use polls and journals for this, but i think that's sorta misusing those features.

the other one would be to have an easily accessable link the most recent site update. Maybe down in the bottom bar eith the dd's and top 5 five journals.
