In our continuous effort to improve the deviantART experience, we're publishing weekly Site Updates to keep members informed and to gather feedback. Below is a list of recent changes to the site, bug fixes, and feedback that was brought up by members in the last Site Update
As with the previous Site Update, this week's Site Update is a little different than usual in that we don't have any publicly visible changes due to our holiday closure. However, stay tuned because we'll be back in full force next week! In the meanwhile, check out...
You're Not Alone
Throughout the holiday season and looking forward to the New Year, it can be easy to feel an ineffable disconnect for any multitude of reasons. But if the thriving and ever-growing community of deviantART can give you one gift now and in the year to come, it's the knowledge that you are not alone. Let art and community into your soul for an inspirational dose of healing whenever you may need it.
Thank you for the feedback on the last Site Update
! There were a variety of methods people chose to go about their regular Group maintenance. Generally, deviants who commented check their Groups every day, and the Groups they help run require voting for deviations to be accepted.
Commonly mentioned concerns with the Group management process included having to jump back and forth between Groups in the Message Center to find Correspondence messages, as well as not being able to easily move or remove deviations from a Group. tobysq also mentioned wanting larger thumbnails for Correspondence messages.
Art Resolutions for the New Year
Recently, we asked on Twitter
if deviants' New Year's resolutions involved art. The responses we received were wonderful and varied, and as such we wanted to pose the question here, as well! Do any of your New Year's resolutions involve art, and if so, what are they?
