In our continuous effort to improve the deviantART experience, we're publishing weekly Site Updates to keep members informed and to gather feedback. Below is a list of recent changes to the site, bug fixes, and feedback that was brought up by members in the
last Site Update.
What's New
Change to Literature Preview Images
Preview images for literature deviations are now placed within a scrolling literature thumb. In the past, any preview image a deviant set would take the place of the scrolling literature thumb, making it difficult to distinguish visual art thumbnails and literature thumbnails.
This change allows for a more uniform thumbnail appearance around the site while also ensuring that each artist is still able to comfortably represent their work.

Your Feedback
- Deviants were pleased about the release of More Like This to everyone.
- Feedback regarding storing deviations varied. Several deviants noted that they use storage as a place to keep deviations they don't want people to see, but don't want to delete for sentimental reasons. Others mentioned that they use storage as a place to temporarily hold deviations.

the glare of the white and blue actually hurts and makes me want to not submit.
being that I am poor enough that I cannot afford to give money to deviant art, this is enough of an issue that I will eventually leave.
of course, if that is the intention; driving away unpaid account holders, why not just be more direct about it? either way will get you a bad reputation (so if it's not your intention, fix it)

I've been thinking about suggesting something for a while now though, maybe it should be possible to move/copy/delete multiple images at once? Personally I find that when I organize my favourites or gallery the amount of time it takes to move many images that I want in the same folder is mostly due to having to do the entire move process over and over on individual images.
It may sound lazy of me but I'd like to spend less time moving.
I've never mentioned to anyone on the site how much I ABSOLUTELY LOVE sta.sh. I use it all the time, it is a brilliant idea. Whether I'm using it for muro or to put together drafts of next week's feature, I lovelovelove it, it is wonderful, and I wanted to say that. Thanks to whomever came up with the idea and worked so hard to make it as awesome as it is.
Wasn't sure where I should put this, so if it should go elsewhere, let me know
