In our continuous effort to improve the deviantART experience, we're publishing weekly Site Updates to keep members informed and to gather feedback. Below is a list of recent changes to the site, bug fixes, and feedback that was brought up by members in the last Site Update.
What's New
The New Suggestions Forum
We started running a trial of a new Suggestions Forum in May, and after monitoring its usage and the benefits it provides, we have replaced the old Suggestions Forum with a new Suggestions Forum located in our Customer Service system, Zendesk. A link to the new Suggestions Forum can be easily reached from the Forums page.
This new Suggestions Forum allows for a great deal of flexibility in how we approach suggestions, including giving staff the ability to mark suggestions as complete, planned, or not planned. It also gives the community the ability to vote up suggestions they agree with. The more votes that a suggestion receives, the higher that suggestion will appear in the forum! Unlike our previous Suggestions Forum, threads don't expire, and when creating a new thread you'll be prompted with similar threads, to help reduce the amount of duplicate threads.
